If you haven’t been living under a rock or have been able to peer through your 9-5 horse blinders, you’re probably aware that the Boston Calling Music Festival is this weekend at City Hall Plaza. The lineup is solid from top to bottom, featuring a lot of major label acts as well as a strong contingent of up and coming Boston bands.
Unfortunately, I have bad news for you if you were hoping to catch Matt & Kim, The Dirty Projectors, the Shins, or others on the cheap, because general admission tickets are officially sold out (an impressive feat considering it’s the festival’s very first year). You can however get a VIP pass that will give you special access to all the bands you know and love.
Also, there will be food trucks offering food at the festival, Roxy’s Grilled Cheese, Mei Mei Street Kitchen, The Shuckin’ Truck, Kickass Cupcakes, and Grillo’s Pickles to name a few.
