Tomorrow night marks the opening of your new favorite stained glass sanctuary from constant Urban assault, Centre Street Sanctuary in Hyde Square, Jamaica Plain. Just a short walk from the Jackson Square T stop on the Orange Line, you can easily hop the train after your night of sinning in the shadows of the Blessed Sacrament Church. The bar is furnished with salvaged church pews (from a Cambridge Church) and even has a bartop made from an old oak church door.
Not only can you get some of their transcendent scratch-made sangrias, but they also have a pretty impressive menu featuring Grass-Fed steaks, Lamb Satays, Curried Mussels, Étouffée, and Hand-rolled Gnocchi. No need to repent. Sinning is encouraged.
Check out their Facebook page for more info.
