Brandeis University, well known for their warm reception for international students, welcomes their newest class of international students.
Students are welcomed in by orientation leaders specially geared towards international students, including bilingual and cultural-sensitivity trained students. For example, students fluent in Korean help to acclimate new students who aren’t 100% comfortable with their English-language skills.
The LTS Tech Desk at Brandeis waits in quads and in the campus library to help out new students with computer problems as well.
International students attend orientation events and meet-and-greets all through the semester start week. Move in day for all of the other remaining Brandeis students is on Tuesday (sports teams and student workers moved in last week).
